This village is recognized as one of the most curious in Dauphiné thanks to its houses suspended from the colored facades which dominate the Bourne.

Pont-en-Royans owes his(her) charm to the ingenuity of the men(people) who, from the 16th century, built this village perched to favor the trade of the wood.

Today administrative centre of canton, this village became the real tourist capital of Royans.
