Abondance is situated by the road in 30 km of Thonon and of the Transverse valleys . Abondance is the administrative centre of canton of the valley of Abundance, within which one finds the villages of Chevenoz, Vacheresse, Bonnevaux, the Chapel of Abundance and Châtel .

Situated in the domain of the Doors of the Sun, Abondance is the domestic station par excellence, dedicated moreover by the label " villages of mountain ".

Abondance with his(her) 1400 inhabitants is a charming village, typically mountain where one knows how to protect the time to live at the rate of the seasons.
